Who can I help?

As well as general Counselling I can also offer Parent Coaching/Consultation, and find that this is often a more effective way of 'healing the family' than seeing the child or young person for individual therapy - after all, as the parent, you're more of an expert on your family than anyone else can be. So if you're going through a difficulty or worrying time with your child(ren), give me a call to find out how I can help.

You don't need a referral, nor does the problem need to be a 'major' one - 'nipping something in the bud' is far better for everyone than leaving things to escalate. Common issues such as bedtime or mealtime problems, 'defiance' and rudeness, unhelpfulness, sibling squabbles, the many challenges of adolescence, and all the other potential challenges of raising happy children can affect a parent's confidence and the family's well-being. So if you're just beginning to have a few concerns, don't just leave things and expect them to go away - deal with it promptly.

There's no need to struggle alone - talk to someone who's been through it! My details are on the Access, Fees & Contact Me page.
